For more than fifty years, Trotec has been processing products from the food industry, which are unfit for human consumption, into animal feed.
The company was founded in 1968 by my father in Veurne on the principle that a co-product is a quality raw material and not a waste product.

By developing its own technology and machines, Trotec has become the market leader with two production sites with a total of more than 200,000 tons per year: Veurne in Belgium and Albon, a new plant in France which was launched in 2017 with a total investment of around 15 million euros. Both sites specialise in the production of TrotecQ100, a nutritional ingredient for the feeding of all farm animals except equidae.
